Proctored Testing

Prescott campus, Verde Valley campus

The Testing Center proctors exams for students enrolled at other higher education institutions. Students are responsible for contacting and following their school's procedures to set up remote proctoring with Yavapai College. Give your school the YC proctor information and have them contact YC to describe the test. Your school and YC must agree with the test parameters. Once tests are sent by your school, call to make an appointment at least 1 week before your test deadline. There are no proctoring services available during Yavapai College finals week. Bring a photo ID and the appropriate Proctored testing fee amount to the testing appointment or Prepay Proctor Fee Online


CLEP Testing

Prescott campus

More than 2,900 colleges and universities in the United States will recognize this demonstration of your knowledge. Each college or university sets its own CLEP policy regarding how much credit will be granted and for which courses. You can receive college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any one or more of the 33 CLEP examinations.

You must first register and pay the appropriate CLEP Exam Fee through the CLEP My Account portal .

Once you have been issued your Registration Ticket you may set up an appointment to take the test using the button below. There is a $25 Proctor Fee to take this test at Yavapai College.

ASE

Prescott campus

The Testing Center administers Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification testing. Candidates are responsible for registering for this testing on the ASE test registration webpage. Fees are paid directly to ASE:  http://www.ase.com/.


Metro

Prescott campus, Verde campus

Yavapai College serves as a test site for Metro Institute's Arizona Structural Pest Control Commission (SPCC) certification testing. Testers are responsible for contacting Metro Institute for information and procedures to set up a test date. Fees are paid directly to Metro. To schedule a Metro test click here . (877) 533-2900.


PAN

Prescott campus

Yavapai College is a certified provider of PAN (Performance Assessment Network) assessments. These computerized examinations are administered to candidates for such purposes as entry level employment, becoming eligible for promotional opportunities or verifying employment eligibility. Testers will generally schedule appointments through their employer.


Pearson Vue

Prescott campus

Yavapai College is a certified provider of Pearson Vue proctored exams. Candidates can find information for test preparation and registration at PEARSON VUE .


GED

Prescott campus, Verde Valley campus

You may be eligible for GED testing if you are:

  • not currently enrolled in an accredited high school,
  • have not graduated from an accredited high school,
  • have not received or qualified for a high school-level equivalency credential,
  • and, are age 16 or older.

Additional requirements for 16- and 17-year-old individuals must be completed before being allowed to schedule the high school equivalency required tests

  • Must create a test-taker profile under their full legal name.
  • Must present the two documents listed below and a current government-issued ID to any Authorized Testing Location or to the Arizona State Office.
  • Official withdrawal from the last school attended.
  • Notarized and dated permission letter from a parent or guardian.
  • Minor must present their forms with photo ID to the Yavapai College Testing Center on the Prescott or Verde campuses.
