*These degrees include 35 credits of general education requirements known as AGEC (AZ General Education Curriculum).
Designed for students who are unsure of career intent. Includes considerable Liberal Studies and allows flexibility to explore many areas of specialization. There are 27 credits of general education courses, 3 credits of Communications, and 34 credits of elective and major. This degree DOES NOT include the AGEC component and therefore would most likely not fully meet university general education requirements.
This 35 credit block of the transfer degree courses is accepted by the three Arizona public universities and guarantees completion of lower-division general education requirements and admission to the universities. For more information, please see the AGEC - Arizona General Education Curriculum link.

General Education courses generally require critical reading and thoughtful writing. Students with college-level reading and writing skills have the foundation necessary for success.
In some cases a specific degree program may require the student to select particular courses, rather than to select freely from the list of approved General Education courses. The student should follow requirements of the specific degree program to ensure graduation and transfer of credits.
