Tuition

The FEC has a 3-tiered tuition schedule, with differential rates for YC students, YC employees and community families. Tuition also varies by schedule (Full time, 3 days a week, 2 days a week) and age groups (infants, toddlers and preschoolers/pre-k).

Families pay a flat, consistent monthly rate. The monthly rate does not vary based on number of days we are open or absences. It includes 3 nutritious meals a day, served family style in the classroom. The college supports the instructional component of our laboratory school, which enables us to provide high quality programming at market rates.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Students with financial need should complete the FAFSA form. Those who are eligible for federal aid may use part of their award to cover the cost of childcare. There are also separate childcare scholarship funds which students can apply for by completing the YC Institutional Scholarship Application.

Low-income students who are working a minimum of 20 hrs a week may also be eligible for DES childcare subsidies; for information call, (928) 277-2850.

YC Employee Flexible Spending Account

As part of the YCT benefit package, employees can set up a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and pay child care expenses out of that account. This will result in a tax savings. For more information, contact Human Resources. Employees not already participating in this program can enroll during “open enrollment” during the month of May.
