"I chose Yavapai College for several reasons, but the most important one being its people. The staff and faculty here at Yavapai are extraordinary. They are people who really care about your well-being and education. You aren't considered just a number; you are everything but that.

I have learned and am learning many new things that will help me not only in the workplace, but also in my education career. YC is a home away from home. It is a campus filled with opportunities, warmth, and love. Its people make it happen for you.

After I graduate, I plan to attend NAU, UCLA or UCSD for the remainder of my studies. I intend to work in either a very rural area or a very urbanized area in where my services are mostly needed by low-income families."
