Scott Miller - Graduate Success!

Scott Miller is the program coordinator and an instructor in the Computer Networking Technology program at Yavapai College. He’s also a 2002 General Studies (Computers) graduate of the college.

Scott chose YC because of its location and proximity and says "the people, technology and convenience of location" all facilitated his success.

Today he applies his skills directly to his job, furthering his education and experience in the field. He says the best part of his job is working with students and making sure they are exposed to the latest computer technologies.

Yavapai College recently introduced a new Associate of Applied Science degree program in Computer Networking Technology. For students in this program and entering the job field, Scott offers this advice: "Work in the field as much as you can (even if it is for free, it is still experience), and GET CERTIFIED! These are the requirements all employers look for."
