Welcome to the YC Alumni Network! It may have been years since you’ve taken a class or have been on one of our campuses, or it may have been just yesterday! Either way, we are grateful that you chose YC as part of your educational journey, and these pages are just for you. First Recipients of the Alumni Student Scholarship Fund
The Alumni Board selected the first recipients of the Alumni Student Scholarship Fund. Jackie Greenrock, Scholarship Chair, center, reported we gave two scholarships for Fall 2009 in the amount of $500. The recipients are Eleanor Beach (left) and Sarah McCasland (right). Jackie and her committee will now begin to seek donations for next semester, so if you would like to contribute as Credit Union West did this year, go to the YC website and click on Alumni and Scholarships to donate.
Now Available: YC Alumni Insurance Program
Yavapai College is pleased to sponsor an Alumni Insurance Program as a service to Alumni. YC Alumni Outreach is partnering with Meyer and Associates to offer an Alumni Insurance Program as our first alumni benefit. The program offers a variety of attractively priced insurance products, most of which are available to alumni, students, faculty, and staff, as well as their spouses, domestic partners, children, and siblings. Group savings on various types of health insurance coverage are available, as well as providing coverage for home and renters, auto, and travel. There are a variety of plans available to meet your needs, including great plans for new grads and other YC Alumni seeking temporary coverage.
Benefits for YC Alumni include:
- Auto, Home & Renters Insurance - special rates are available to alumni and family members living in the same household
- Life Insurance Long-Term Protection with great rates and fantastic features. Coverage is available to $1 million.
- Medical Insurance for those temporarily without coverage, such as the unemployed and recent graduates, and for special situations, including travelers and students.
