Four artists from four uniquely different geographical locations in the United States, working in vastly diverse mediums bring their individual styles into one artistic voice at the Verde Art Gallery.
These full-time artists - David Woof, Sallie Cross, Cris Roney, and Michael Turner – have long respected and observed the evolution of each other’s work, and so celebrate this exhibition as a first-time coming together of their individual creative expressions.
The Yavapai College Art Gallery is delighted to present an exhibition by ceramic sculptor, Don Reitz. Considered to be one of the most accomplished and influential ceramicists working today, Reitz has been named one of the twelve "greatest living ceramic artists worldwide" by Ceramics Monthly (1988 and 2001). In an exhibition especially curated for the college, Reitz will be showing innovative and experimental work in wood- and salt-fired ceramics produced from his studio in rural Clarkdale.
The Verde Gallery will be showcasing exceptional artwork created by local high school students, presenting the community an opportunity to see into the future of arts in the Verde Valley.
