Who We Are

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute - Sedona (OLLI) is a self-directed membership organization within Yavapai College. It was created to meet the needs and interests of retirement-age people. The Institute recognizes the unique experiences and capabilities of its members by emphasizing and encouraging peer learning, member participation, collaborative leadership and social interaction. Lively discussion, plus experiential opportunities in personal growth, cultural and environmental explorations provide members a rich, continuing educational experience.

What We Offer

• Short-term "no tests, no grades' Learning Groups, four to six weeks in length, covering a range of topics.
• Edventures are journeys to new places and ideas. Members enjoy a variety of learning experiences in diverse and spectacular southwest locations.
• Distinguished speakers on a variety of topics may be a part of a course or offered as a workshop or seminar.
• Social events often connected to cultural events.
• We also provide access to the Yavapai College library, discounts to specific college and outside events, certain computer software and hardware, magazines and discounts on "Edventures," the Sedona Film Festival and other programs.

Membership

Choose from three membership levels:

• $115 for a one-semester membership and unlimited learning groups and workshops.
• $65 for one-semester membership allows for any 6 learning groups or workshops or combination thereof; $20 each additional learning group; $10 for each additional workshop.
• $25 for a one-semester membership plus $20 for each learning group and $10 for each workshop.

PLEASE NOTE: Field trips and events are filled on a first-come, first served basis and are open to the public (with discounts to OLLI members). Learning groups are available only to OLLI members. Sedona OLLI members can enroll in Verde Valley learning groups and vice versa.
