My name is Reed Winfrey and I have been at Yavapai College since May 7, 2002. I'm married with two children. My 15 year old daughter attends Tri City Prep High School, and my 26 year old son is employed by the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.
My wife is a nursing instructor at the Prescott Campus at Yavapai College.
My outside interests include the Yavapai County Medical Reserve Corps, Prescott Valley Police Department, and I'm also involved in a couple Yavapai College committees.
I moved to Prescott Valley in 1988 from Mesa Arizona where I had lived since 1968.
My name is John Standley, and I have been with Yavapai College since 2000. I am married and have 7 grown children. My wife and I are very proud of them. We also have 7 grand children.
Prior to working for Yavapai College, I retired from the United Parcel Service after 30 years of service.
I worked full time for the College for 5 years as a supervisor in the mail center, I retired from that position in April of 2005.
I enjoy working part time as a courier and watching Yavapai College grow and meet the needs of our community.
My name is Larry Humphrey and I have been living in the Prescott Arizona area for over 30 years.
The city of Prescott and Yavapai County are still a very desirable place to live and the college has been a great place to earn a living.
I have had a series of different assignments over the years. This part-time assignment as a District Courier is exceptional. It provides me with exposure to wonderful people and a variety of scenery as I travel central Yavapai County.
Joyce and I have been married for 53 years. We have two children, four grandchildren, and a great grandchild.
Both of us are retired from banking in downtown Los Angeles; she as a branch manager, and I as a lender to large business borrowers.
In 1987 we sold our home in Granada Hills (San Fernando Valley) and moved to Prescott to enjoy hillside living in the Lynx Creek area. Five years ago we built and moved to the Pinyon Oaks development.
Spare time is devoted to caring for Joyce's 94 year-old mother, enjoying family and friends, travel, golf, reading and watching our 15 year-old grandson compete in high school-age hockey around the state.
My military time was spent in the US Army (tanks), with action in Korea.
Except for a several-year hiatus, I have been a Yavapai College courier since 1995 -- a most enjoyable engagement, and one that has helped support my reckless spending on grandkids, kids, and golf.
