How to Apply

Entry into the College Honors Program is competitive. Admission is based on scholastic achievement and on demonstrated ability to think critically and independently.

Applications for the 2009-10 school year have closed. Check back in January 2010 for application information for the 2010-2011 school year.

Due Date for Completion of All Steps Listed Below is March 1st of the Application year.

A complete application packet for the College Honors Program requires the submission of all of the following:

1. A completed Yavapai College scholarship application form (download the scholarship application form by clicking HERE)
   (Students new to Yavapai College will also need to complete an application for admission)
2. A letter of interest as described in the application guidelines (see link below)
3. A critical essay as detailed in the application materials (see link below)
4. Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from an academic source
5. Official transcripts (college only for continuing students)
6. An advisor-signed academic plan that demonstrates a minimum of 2 semesters of full-time course work remaining for completing an Associate Degree (required for continuing students only)
7. Submit your completed application materials to:
