The opera company that thrilled Prescott audiences with “La Traviata” in 2008 returns to present Giuseppe Verdi’s “Aida” for the 2008-09 season. First performed in Cairo in 1871, Aida is a classic love story involving an Ethiopian princess (Aida) and a military commander who struggles to choose between his love for her and his loyalty to the Pharaoh. Teatro Lirico D'Europa has developed a portfolio of rave reviews for full-scale opera productions presented across Europe and the U.S.
