Critical Thinking Course Outcomes
Upon completion of any Critical Thinking course in the Liberal Studies Requirement Block, students will be able to:
- describe the elements and aspects of the critical thinking processes;
- process critically and communicate information through writing, reading, speaking, viewing and/or listening;
- define and create effective solutions to problems;
- recognize that closure is not always achieved in intellectual discourse;
- formulate and articulate informed choices based on refined critical thinking skills;
- construct pertinent questions;
- apply critical thinking skills when assessing philosophical, scientific, societal, and individual issues.
