DEADLINES for approval of textbooks/instructional materials are:
Fall/Summer Semester - April 1st
Spring Semester - October 15th
Step-by-Step Procedure:
Originator obtains Textbook Adoption Form below (or from appropriate Division Office).
Originator submits completed Textbook Adoption Form to the Division office. From there it is forwarded to the Bookstore.
The Bookstore will review the proposed approval and complete the Bookstore section of the Textbook Adoption Form. The Bookstore will then forward the form to the appropriate Division Assistant Dean/Program Director.
Textbook proposal is reviewed by the Division AssistantDean/Program Director to determine if the textbook supports the learning outcomes in the course outline.
If not approved, the Textbook Adoption Form is returned to the originator with a memo indicating the reason for disapproval.
