Our Mission is to Mentor, Teach, and
Help Students Succeed in School!
Consistently, more than 70% of our ETS students enroll in colleges and universities after high school.
There is NO COST for the participants of the ETS program!
Educational Talent Search (ETS) TRiO program is a grant program designed to prepare high school and middle school students for entry into college. We hold weekly or monthly sessions during school hours at 9 area schools.
Placing Yavapai County Teen Students into College Nationwide is our Ultimate Purpose
Our ultimate purpose is to promote educational equity in our rural Arizona communities. We give middle and high school students the opportunities and motivation to plan fulfilling lives by succeeding in school and by planning a college education. Each year, ETS serves over 700 students within Yavapai County.

In fulfilling our mission, professional Educational Talent Search (ETS) staff not only assist students but also help school counselors, families, administrators, and teachers fulfill their goals to help students succeed.
How We Reach Students
- By holding monthly or weekly meetings in each participating school during school hours (see our list of participating schools).
- By academic counseling and mentoring.
- By holding special assemblies and sessions within participating schools.
- By providing access to technology not otherwise available at home or in school.
- By providing opportunities for both educational and cultural field trips.

Summer Trip to the Grand Canyon
On this field trip, students also participated in an environmental survey of the Grand Canyon.
A Technology Field Trip for Middle Schoolers
This field trip was designed to teach students about graphic design software tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
