ETS Field Trips

ETS provides the transportation as well as water, snacks and lunch for the participants on our field trips.

Fall 2009 Field Trips

University of Arizona and Pima Community College

Friday September 18, 2009

This field trip is for ETS high school students. We will tour the University of Arizona in Tucson, as well as Pima Community College, a 2-year school near the U of A. Students on the field trip will learn information about financial aid, admissions, and programs.

Yavapai College Athletics Field Trip

Friday September 25, 2009

This field trip is for ETS middle school students. We will visit Yavapai College to hear a panel about collegiate athletics, sports scholarships, and careers related to athletics, like sports medicine. We will also take a campus tour, focusing on the athletic facilities.

Arizona State University and Scottsdale Culinary Institute

Friday October 23, 2009

This field trip is for ETS high school students to visit the main ASU campus in Tempe. Students will hear information about financial aid, admission, and programs. We will also tour the cooking school, Scottsdale Culinary Institute.

Sister-to-Sister Luncheon with the Arizona Association of University Women (AAUW)

Friday November 6, 2009

This field trip is for ETS high school girls. Students will have lunch with mentors from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) at Yavapai College to talk about college and personal goals.  There will also be panel of Yavapai College students to speak about their recent college experiences.

Kaplan College and Phoenix Humane Society

Friday November 18, 2009

This field trip is for ETS middle school students. We will visit Kaplan College in Phoenix, which has a veterinary program. Students will hear about the program and tour the college. We will also visit the Phoenix Humane Society.
