ETS provides the transportation as well as water, snacks and lunch for the participants on our field trips.

Spring 2010 Field Trips

Sister-to-Sister Luncheon with the Arizona Association of University Women (AAUW)

Tuesday February 9, 2010

This field trip is for ETS high school girls. Students will have lunch with mentors from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) at Yavapai College to talk about college and personal goals.  There will also be panel of Yavapai College students to speak about their recent college experiences.

Phoenix Symphony and ASU School of Journalism

Wednesday February 24, 2010

This field trip is for ETS middle school students. We will hear a special educational presentation of music at the Phoenix Symphony. Then we will tour the Cronkite Building, which is home to the ASU School of Journalism, and have lunch on campus.

This field trip is for ETS high school girls. Students will have lunch with mentors from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) at the Gathering restaurant to talk about college and personal goals. 

NAU Open House

Saturday March 27, 2010

This field trip is for ETS high school students. We will visit Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Students will hear about programs, admissions and financial aid, tour the campus, and have lunch on campus.

Yavapai College-CTEC Campus Visit

Thursday April 1, 2010-Tentative Date

This field trip is for middle school students to visit the Career and Technical Education Center YC campus and also visit the Culinary Palette, a culinary school in Frontier Village. Students will hear information about their programs, and take a campus tour. Then we will visit a local cooking school.

Discover Yavapai

Friday April 9, 2010-Tentative Date

This field trip is for Bradshaw Mountain and Camp Verde high school students to visit the Yavapai College Prescott campus. Students will hear information about financial aid, admission, and programs, and take a campus tour and have lunch on campus.
