The mission of the Financial Aid Office is to provide financial guidance and assistance to students in their pursuit of a higher education.

Important Financial Aid Dates

• January 1, 2008 - 2008-09 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
• January 1, 2008 - 2008-09 YC Scholarship applications accepted.
• July 14, 2008 - Deferred payment deadline. Payment for all tuition, fees, room & board due in full.
• July 18, 2008 - Vets - Priority deadline to register and turn in requests for Fall 2008 Veterans’ benefits.
  
• August 1, 2008 - First Snapshot Date. Make sure you are enrolled in the amount of credits that you wish to be funded for on this date!
• August 20 through 30 - Extended office hours including Saturday. See the fall schedule for details for your campus.
• August 20, 2008 - First disbursement Fall 2008 Semester financial aid checks for completed files released.
  
• August 25, 2008 - First day of Fall 2008 semester!
• August 31, 2008 - Second Snapshot Date. Last day to make schedule adjustments effecting final financial aid award.
• August 31, 2008 - Last day to register, or to drop or add a regular class.
• September 1, 2008 - Labor Day Holiday. Offices closed! No classes!
• Financial Aid checks are disbursed every Wednesday during the semester.
