Welcome to Financial Aid

The mission of the Financial Aid Office is to provide financial guidance and assistance to students in their pursuit of a higher education.

Important Financial Aid Dates

• January 1, 2010 - 2010-11 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
• January 1, 2010 - 2010-11 YC Scholarship applications accepted.
• March 15-19, 2010 - Campus closed. Spring Break.
• April 1, 2010 - Priority Deadline. Completed financial aid files will be considered for additional funding.
• May 10, 2010 - YC Scholarship award notifications sent.
• May 11, 2010 - End of Spring Semester.
• May 30, 2010 - Deadline for tribal scholarship Financial Need Analysis (FNA) forms to be sent to YC. (REMEMBER: Your file must be complete for us to send these to your tribe).
• June 7, 2010 - Summer semester begins.
• June 9, 2010 - Summer snapshot date.
• June 15, 2010 - YC federal aid award letters sent for the upcoming academic year.
• In-Person Entrance Counseling sessions are held every Friday from 2-3pm in 1-203. (There will be no session on March 19)
• Financial Aid checks are disbursed every Wednesday during the semester.
