More than 70 scholarship funds have been established through the efforts of the Yavapai College Foundation to provide academic assistance to deserving students in disciplines ranging from music to nursing.
Students must have a degree or certificate program as their educational objective and have a grade point average of at least 3.0. Specific scholarships may have additional restrictions. Annual awards range from $500-$2000.
Questions regarding these scholarships should be directed to the Financial Aid Office at either the Prescott campus (928)776-2125 or the Verde Valley campus (928) 634-6563. Come in and check our scholarship board for additional scholarship opportunities sponsored by private donors.
Available to any qualified first year student interested in pursuing a music education and/or participating in music performance activities at Yavapai College.
Available to any qualified business student, preferably with a real estate emphasis.

Yavapai County high school students who will be ending their junior or senior years and recent GED recipients (within the last six months) are eligible to receive a High School Summer Bridge Grant. Up to 3 credit hours will be covered for any course offered during the summer term. This grant does not cover the cost of lab fees or books. Funding is limited and awarded on a first come, first served, basis.
Available to students enrolled in the Nursing Degree Program at Yavapai College. First preference given to Native American students.
Available to any qualified student.
Available to students enrolled in their second year of the Nursing Degree Program.
The Carpenter Family Foundation provides assistance to graduates of Sedona Red Rock High School and the Verde College for Kids.
Available to any qualified student enrolled in the Yavapai College Agribusiness Technology Program.
Recipients must be alumni who have completed 30 credits of study, received one degree or certificate, or children of such alumni. A recipient may apply in successive years of study. A GPA maintenance of 3.0 will be required for continuance of the scholarship. Click here for application.
Must be a current or recent ward of the Yavapai County Juvenile Court. Scholarships cover costs for tuition, books, and fees for full or part-time students enrolled in a degree or certificate program, or for those seeking personal enrichment. Separate application is required.
Deadlines are as follows: July 1 for the Fall semester, December 1 for the Spring semester, and May 1 for the Summer semester. If funding is still available, late applications will be accepted.

Although all YC Certificate holders will be considered, premedical, nursing, emergency services & business management will be favored.
Available to any student enrolled on the Clarkdale Campus who had at least a B average in their last semester of attendance and who demonstrate financial need.

Available to a full time student, who qualifies for Arizona resident status, is a resident of Yavapai County, and is enrolled in preparatory courses leading to an education major. Recipient must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.0 and preferable 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Recipient must be enrolled in the sophomore year and express an intent to become a teacher.
Available to a full-time student who qualifies for Arizona resident status and is a participant in the Yavapai College Women's Athletic Program.

Available to a full-time sophomore student residing in Yavapai County and enrolled in preparatory courses leading to a degree or certificate. Preference will be given to a student with a partial or total hearing or visual impairment. Secondary preference will be given to a student with a physical impairment.
