Scholarships are available for students enrolling in courses from the Graphic Design or Fine Arts programs. Students must submit a portfolio for review. Contact the Visual and Performing Arts Division by February 1 at (928) 776-2035 for information and application materials. Application deadline is March 6.
Scholarships for intercollegiate athletics are awarded in accordance with the policies and procedures of the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference.
Student athletes are also encouraged to apply for federal, state, and institutional financial assistance programs. Student athletes who receive funds from other financial assistance programs may have their original Athletic Scholarship offer adjusted as to not exceed NJCAA & YC guidelines.

Approximately 35 scholarships are available for students graduating in the upper 25% of Yavapai County high schools. A minimum 3.0 cumulative high school grade point average is required.
Scholarships are renewable a second year for students who complete 24 credit hours with at least a 3.0 grade point average their first year. Recipients are required to enroll on a full-time basis. This scholarship is designed to cover the cost of tuition, not to exceed 16 credit hours per semester.
Students must be pursuing a degree or certificate program in the Business/Paralegal Division. Award is based on financial need and academic performance. An additional essay is required, and must be submitted to the Financial Aid office along with a Yavapai College scholarship application. More information is available here.
Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours. Award based on financial need. Students must have demonstrated child care expenses for children age 12 and under.

Scholarships available to students pursuing a degree or certificate in Early Childhood Education. Students taking 3 or more units can apply. Awards can be used to cover the cost of registration and books for courses in the Early Childhood Education program of study. Students taking 6 or more units may be eligible for child care funds. Applicants are ranked on financial need, academic merit, child related volunteerism and/or community service. Students must be pursuing an associate degree program and have demonstrated success in high school and/or college level science and math courses.
Scholarships are available to students enrolling in Yavapai College music courses. Awards are based on financial need and demonstrated ability in either instrumental or vocal areas. Contact Visual and Performing Arts Division for additional details at (928) 776-2035.

Scholarships are available annually to active members of the Yavapai College Native American Club. Students must participate in at least two club activities to be eligible and must be an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe. Contact Student Support Services for applications.
Part-Time Grants are available to new students attending 6 credit hours or less who have not completed the federal financial aid application process and have not paid enrollment fees.
The Part-Time Grant program is based on need and requires basic income information to be submitted. The maximum amount of a grant will not exceed six credit hours and is for tuition only. The grant will not cover lab fees, out of state tuition, books or living expenses. A small contribution may be required.
Students who receive a Part-Time Grant and subsequently become eligible for a Pell Grant must repay the Part-Time Grant to allow this program to help other students in need.
Scholarships are available to students pursuing a degree or certificate in Administration of Justice, Fire Science, or Emergency Medical Services. Applicants are rated on financial need, academic merit, work history, and community service.
There are approximately 14 Resident Advisor (RA) positions available each academic year. Waivers cover room and board costs in exchange for assisting and leading students in the residence halls. RA's are expected to attend training sessions and be on duty approximately 20 hours per week.

Approximately 25 tuition scholarships are available to full-time students who have completed at least 24 college credit hours with a minimum 3.0 grade point average. This scholarship is designed to cover the cost of tuition, not to exceed 16 credit hours per semester.
Students must be pursuing a degree or certificate in one of the many vocational program offerings at Yavapai College including agribusiness, construction technology, digital media arts, nursing, welding and more. Contact the Financial Aid Office for additional information.
Priority consideration is given to students graduating from any Yavapai County high school. Awards are also made available to other students who are Yavapai County residents.
Amounts vary depending on financial need. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to determine eligibility. Full-time students are given priority consideration. Late applications will be considered as long as funding exists.
Recipients are required to sign an agreement committing them to approximately 10 hours per week toward the production of the student newspaper. The amount of the award varies depending on specific newspaper duties.
