The National Day of Writing
Spread the word! National Day on Writing:
October 20, 2009
What is the National Day on Writing?
Schools and communities all over the country will celebrate and share writing in all its forms for all types of purposes. The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) has proposed this day to “draw attention to the remarkable variety of writing we engage in and help make writers from all walks of life aware of their craft” (NCTE website).
Visit the National Day on Writing website.
