Janet Maissen - Tai Chi Chih Instructor

Janet Maissen has been teaching at Yavapai College for 15 years. She began by teaching theater classes, and since 2000 has added Tai Chi Chih to her schedule. She also teaches Tai Chi Chih at the YMCA.

When not in the classroom, Janet enjoys singing and dancing with the Lynx Creek Cloggers.
Janet Maissen acts in classical scenework with the Prescott Stage Company, a local non-profit theatre group.
She also loves to read and travel. The best place she has ever visited is Switzerland. Janet also loves to attend theater productions. Her current favorite is "The Lion King"".
