Christy encourages students to study five elements of physical fitness: strength, cardio vascular, flexibility, balance and endurance along with healthy eating habits.

Christy is the Wellness Center & Diabetes Project Director for the Yavapai Prescott Indian Tribe. She believes in a lifestyle balance of mind, body, and spirit.
in various locations throughout Prescott. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Yavapai College in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department (HPER) since 2006.
Current certifications include Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) group fitness instructor and personal trainer, Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) aquatic fitness instructor, and 5th grade green belt Tae Kwon Do.
Christy continues each year to receive various certifications through continuing education classes, conventions, workshops, and seminars.
She received her B.A. from UCLA in Business/Economics, has been a licensed real estate agent/broker since 1992, and loves everything about Prescott. She is an avid hiker of the Grand Canyon and ballroom dances 3 times per week in the Prescott area.
Christy is a biking enthusiast and participated in the New York 5 Boro Bike Tour with 32,000 other riders. Christy promotes cross-training for her students.
