Mike Pantalione enters his 20th year as Yavapai's first and only head soccer coach.
While under Coach Pantalione's direction
- Yavapai College has developed the Most Successful Junior College Soccer Program in the United States
- YC has won Six National Championships
- 16 Top-Four National Finishes
- 19 Consecutive Conference Titles
Mike Pantalione currently has the best winning percentage of any Collegiate Men's Soccer Coach in the United States.
Mike's Professional Recognitions and Accomplishments
- 2006 - NJCAA Soccer Hall of Fame Inductee
- Recipient of the 1996 NSCAA/NISOA National Merit Honor awarded to one college coach (2-year or 4-year / men's or women's) whose reputation is recognized as praiseworthy, and reflective of the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior.
- 6-Time NSCAA National Coach of the Year Award Winner
- 13-Time NSCAA West Region Coach of the Year recipient
Mike also has extensive experience in many other team and individual sports.
He has previously taught in the physical education departments at the University of Montana and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
