Attention all Part Time Staff Employees,
Yavapai College is taking the next step in the review of its compensation system by moving ahead with a part time classification study.
The first step in the process will be to obtain job responsibility and other important information about all part time staff positions through a Part Time Job Evaluation Questionnaire (PTJEQ). As a part time employee, you have an essential role in this process by completing a PTJEQ for your position.
The purpose of this Part Time Job Evaluation Questionnaire (PTJEQ) is to develop a clear understanding of each part time position at Yavapai College. The PTJEQ will provide a consistent basis to compare your job with other jobs across the district that have similar responsibilities and skill requirements. Your responses will be compared to those of others holding the same position or similar positions across the district. The PTJEQ will also help to ensure that each position is evaluated on the same basis in order to help determine its relative position within the college compensation system.
Once completed and submitted, the information provided in the PTJEQs will be used to group part time positions with other similar part time positions. Next, these groups will be developed into part time classifications with minimum and maximum hourly compensation ranges.
