To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Requires tact and courtesy when interacting with others; requires some influencing and work prioritization to accomplish responsibilities

Analyzes data and provide critical support to core and ad hoc research activities (i.e. surveys, studies, enrollment reports, program reviews and audits, etc.), resulting in institutional assessment information for the purpose of supporting academic and administrative decision making.
Conduct college/district research projects; collect, compile and develop reports on demographic, biographical, enrollment/curriculum, retention and other pertinent data; complete questionnaires sent from outside agencies concerning enrollment, services, programs, student demographics, etc. Manage district student course evaluation process; distribution of packets, data entry, data analysis and summary. Manage graduate exit and follow-up survey process. Process faculty and staff requests for statistical and narrative information on college programs, student and course enrollment information. Assist faculty and staff on research projects. Participate in Program, Service and Auxiliary Service Area Reviews; post results to web site. Perform budget monitoring, serve as department purchasing liaison, produce Research and Assessment Newsletter.
