Performs exempt/professional level work related to the area of assignment.
Works within a specific area of discipline requiring specialized knowledge and experience in the area of assignment.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of four years of experience required in the area of specialty at the highest complexity level
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Requires influencing and project management of others within the same and other departments to accomplish responsibilities; requires moderate external contact and influencing
May have lead or supervisory responsibility over others

Teaches sport activity to individual or groups at private or public recreational facility or school by performing the following duties.
Explains and demonstrates use of apparatus and equipment.
Explains and demonstrates principles, techniques, and methods of regulating movement of body, hands, or feet to achieve proficiency in activity.
Observes students during practice to detect and correct mistakes.
Explains and enforces safety rules and regulations.
Explains method of keeping score.
Organizes and conducts competition and tournaments.
Purchases, displays, sells, maintains, or repairs equipment.
Keeps record of receipts and expenditures.
Lectures on history and purposes of sport.
