Part time Clinical Instructor/Skills Lab

The incumbent will provide Medical-Surgical clinical instruction in multiple clinical agencies and collaborate with agency staff in planning student experiences. Assess student learning and collaborate with teaching team.
Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing clinical experiences and clinical program. Position involves some travel between Prescott & Verde Valley Campuses.
- Department / Location - Nursing/Allied Health - Prescott Campus
- Grade / Salary - Commensurate with experience. 19 3/4 hours per week

Minimum Expectations & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Experience as a nurse clinical educator, providing professional nursing care to clients within the last five years with emphasis on Medical-Surgical nursing
- Two years experience providing direct client care
- Ability to walk independently, perform manual skills, see and hear students and clients in clinical setting
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work as a member of the teaching team
- Commitment to professional development
Preferred Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing or related field
- Experience as a clinical instructor for an associate degree nursing program.
