YC faculty and staff now have a wonderful, interactive online resource to share and discuss ideas. It is intended, over time, to provide a library of information about ethics-related issues in academia.

Access the ethics forum on Blackboard

• Log into our Blackboard course, you'll find a section called "Your Feedback"
• Review and comment on proposed changes to our Ethics Code of Conduct and related policies
• Ask questions
• Add or edit resources about ethics in higher education.

Examples of contributions

One might include sharing of ideas or suggestions for language faculty can use in their syllabi to encourage academic freedom or articles about current ethics-related events in higher education.

The aim is for the submissions to be factual or to provide different ways of thinking about ethical issues. Since all employees are eligible to participate in the discussion different resources and viewpoints should emerge over time and will keep the ethics dialogue alive.
