Performance Management at Yavapai College

The College's Performance Management and Development planning process emphasized competency-based performance and continuous communication between the employee and the supervisor about the employee's work assignments.

The goals of the program are to:

  • Make employees aware of what is expected of them
  • Provide employees with continuous feedback about their performance
  • Provide employees with opportunities for continuous learning and development
  • Reward employees for performance

All employees will have an annual performance plan, based on both position expectations and contribution to department plan. Employees will be evaluated on their performance plan twice per fiscal year.
