This is a Voice-Recognition program that types your spoken word into a document. It performs best using a Platronics PerSona Headset available upon request. The initial setup of the voice file takes about an hour. Be sure to export and save your voice file to the M: drive.
Corel Word Perfect, on the Learning Center Computers, has a miniature version of the Dragon Naturally Speaking program. This may be used by all students. Headsets are available.
The scanner will copy printed text or diagrams into a computer file. Use either the HP Scanner Software or Omni Page Pro Software to create the computer file. The file may be printed or saved.
This a a computer-generated voice program that will read all icons, program names, and general details of all computer programs. After you Log-in to a resource computer this program will automatically load. It is useful for students with less eyesight or who learn better through hearing. Please use the headphones with this program.
Please turn JAWS off before running this program or both programs will talk at once. This program allows you to use the HP Scanner to scan in a text and the program will read the text back to you.
This program will allow you to transfer a text item onto an audio tape.
You can make changes to reflect a Right-Handed or Left-Handed Keyboard Layout. Follow the instructions in the Resource Binder.
