English Modules: Skill Improvement Courses
The English Modules
The English Modules are half-credit* or one-credit individualized classes that focus on improving basic reading, writing and study skills.
Students meet once a week with the instructor to set learning goals, discuss assignments and receive instruction. Students learn to use Yavapai College resources, including software, videos and tutors.
Modules can be adjusted to suit a variety of skill levels and needs, whether students want to improve their English skills as speakers of other languages (ESOL), or refresh and review their skills. Contact an instructor/facilitator, the Learning Center, or an advisor for more information.
