Allied Health Internships
A mandatory orientation will be held on the Prescott campus for all students admitted to an internship regardless of the campus that their class is assigned to.
To participate in an Allied Health Internship, a student must complete all of the courses within the certificate program with a “C” or better, and have the permission of the program director. Students must submit the Allied Health Internship Application with all required documentation prior to the application deadline.

Students must be able to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week for the Medical Assistant internship for a total of 120 hours; must be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week for the Phlebotomy and Pharmacy Technician internships for a total of 120 hours; must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for the Medical Coding internship for a total of 40 hours. Student placement is dependent on the availability of internship sites.

Uniform Requirements
- 3-pocket pullover scrub top (Any brand)
Color: Burgundy, (Nurse Assistant uniforms are navy.) - Burgundy uniform pants, (Nurse assistants uniforms are navy.)
NO JEANS, LEGGINGS, STIRRUPS OR SWEATS - White rubber-soled shoes with CLOSED HEELS, may be white leather running shoes. No clogs or canvas sneakers
