Veterans' Celebrations

November 9 - 13, 2009

Yavapai College recognizes and celebrates our community veterans during the week of November 9-13, 2009. The events listed below are free and open to everyone.

• November 9-13
  Veterans' Honor Wall, All Campuses
  A banner will be available at each campus where YC faculty, staff and students can express appreciation for veterans. Banners will then be given to the Northern Arizona VA Medical Center in Prescott for display.
• November 10
  Prescott Campus, Rock House
  Veterans' Recognition Celebration at the District Governing Board meeting beginning at 1 p.m. Students, faculty and staff veterans will be recognized at a formal celebration.
• November 11
  Veterans' Day National Holiday
  Parade at Northern Arizona VA Medical Center, Prescott
  The community is invited to attend and participate in the parade to honor veterans. Parade begins at 11 a.m.
