The Procurement and Contract Management Services Mission Statement

Yavapai College Procurement and Contract Management Services is responsible for purchasing and contracting all items and services necessary for the operation of the College District while maintaining effective stewardship for the District's funds.

  1. the act and function of responsibility for the acquisition of equipment, materials, supplies, and services.
  2. In a narrow sense, the term describes the process of buying.
  3. In a broader sense, the term describes determining the need , selecting the vendor or contractor, arriving at a fair and reasonable price and terms, preparing the contract or purchase order, and following up to ensure timely delivery.
