Incoming Transfer Students

Discover Yavapai

Yavapai College conducts Discover Yavapai campus tours. These programs are designed to provide prospective students, parents counselors, and visitors with a convenient way to see the campus and learn about Yavapai College in one visit.

The day is structured to accommodate those wishing to visit and return to their campuses in time for after-school activities. Programs begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Guidelines for transfer students:

• Yavapai College awards transfer credit only when the original institution is regionally accredited.
• Credit is converted to semester units.
• Only credit with a grade of "C" or better (2.0 on a 4.0 scale) will be considered for transfer.
• Transcripts are evaluated upon request. Contact the Admissions & Registration Office to request an evaluation.
• Students whose grade point average is below 2.0 or who had academic restrictions at their previous institution may be admitted to Yavapai College on restriction.
