Greetings!

Well the semester almost over! The halls will close for Thanksgiving Break Wednesday, November 25th and reopen Sunday, November 29th at 2:00 pm. There will be a fee assessed for improper check out of $50.00 per day. If you want to stay during the break see your Hall Director and pay your break fees no later than Friday, November 6th. If you do not sign up for break housing and your ID card is swiped at any hall card reader you will be assumed residing during the break and be assessed $50 per day.

It's time to notify your hall director about your plans for spring semester. You must cancel your housing in writing by December 1st to avoid having spring fees added to your portal account. We will begin spring assignments on Tuesday, December 1st and your fees will be reflected on your account and must be paid upon assignment. Your hall director will confirm building and room assignment upon move out for fall break. Termination of your contract between semesters will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit as per contract requirements.

Fall break begins Saturday, December 12th and all students are required to leave for fall break. We will not be offering break housing between December 12 and January 19th. Students may return in the spring on Tuesday, January 19th at 11:00am.

Just a quick reminder as we head into the flu season. Our Student Health Center will be issuing vaccinations soon, please have your student check the website, www.yc.edu/studenthealthcenter for updates.
