2009-2010 Double Occupancy Rates Per Semester

Marapai Hall is set up as double occupancy and traditionally we assign incoming freshman students here first.  Supai is a suite style set up but still only two people per room.  We will fill Supai with any additional Freshmen not housed in Marapai and returning students as they request.  Kachina is double occupancy and for our non-traditional (21 and over) students.  Yavapai College will place each student according to the preferences in the application and age.  We aim to keep the age within two years but may need to move folks around to fill capacity. 

Yavapai College operates ten rooms on a lottery basis for single rooms with the following requirements.  All students must have lived on campus a minimum of one semester, have a 3.0 grade point average, an academic plan on file with their advisor, and be in good discipline standing with the college in order to be considered for a single room. The rate for single rooms is approximately $550 higher than for traditional double rooms or suite-style rooms.  All students will be contacted two weeks prior to move in if their lottery number was drawn and offered the room by availability.  All rooms fees must be paid in full prior to being assigned to the room.  This lottery system will turn over every semester so you may be granted a single for the fall but must reapply for the spring.  All single room applications will be accepted after the second week of school and must be given to your hall director.
