The Office of Residence Life and Judicial Affairs is responsible for upholding the Student Code of Conduct. The intended purpose of the Code of Conduct is to maintain order and stability and preserve all educational functions by setting forth standards of behavior and promoting respect for the rights of all individuals.
The Office of Residence Life and Judicial Affairs is also responsible for establishing administrative procedures for the fair enforcement of the rules and regulations, and preserving due process of law.
The Dean of Student Affairs appoints the Student Conduct Officers. The Student Conduct Officers serve students, faculty and staff members. The Student Conduct Committee works closely with Campus Safety, Residence Life, Office of Instruction, and members of the Appeals Board.
