Applying for Off-Campus Jobs

Contact information and application instructions are listed with the job. Students are responsible for contacting the employer and making interview arrangements.

Using Caution and Common Sense during a Job Search

Use caution and common sense when applying for or accepting any position with any organization or private party.

For example, if a job is at a residence, in most cases it would be best to have the interview at a public place, rather than at the residence. Check to see if you will be covered by insurance if you are injured on the job. Do not put yourself in a vulnerable or unsafe situation.

Federal Work Study (FWS) Students Off-Campus

Each year, several students who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) through our Financial Aid Office obtain paid off-campus community service jobs, usually at local K-12 schools or non-profit organizations.
