Michael Wesch from the Library of Congress

ExplorerMichael Wesch got famous quick. He is the guy who created the “The Machine is Us/ing Us” video about a zillion of us watched on YouTube. He is also an anthropologist. Check out his lecture on an anthropological introduction to YouTube given at the Library of Congress earlier this summer.

Thatcher's Learning Video from TED

windows mediaWe are thinking that we are going to do a “feature” to the webletter. It will be called “Thatcher’s Favorite Video of the Month.” Thatcher always shares one of his favorite TED talks with us during our meetings and we are always inspired by the videos he recommends. So here is another of his favorites.

Lawyer Role Playing in the Virtual Classroom

Exlporer logoRole playing can be effective in the classroom. Gil Shaw, one of our Paralegal instructors, takes role playing to a new level with this awesome video. Take a look at this video he created with the help of TELS as a way to explain the assignment to his students.
