Yavapai College Classroom Make-up Testing
What is Classroom Make-up Testing?
Yavapai College faculty may have their classroom make-up, accommodated, and Department Dean approved testing proctored outside of the classroom environment.
This exam proctoring is offered on the Prescott Campus in Bldg. 1-224, 928-776-2200, and the Verde Campus in Bldg I, 928-634-6561. The Prescott Valley Campus, 928-717-7911 offers this service by appointment only. Hours and procedures vary for each campus site. Please review these below. Instructors are responsible for advising students of the procedures for the specific location where they will test. There is no fee for YC students or faculty.
Prescott Campus
Fall Semester Hours
- Mon & Thu 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Tue & Wed 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Fri 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Closed Nov 26-28
Summer Hours (May 18 - Aug 14)
- Mon - Thu 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Fri 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Procedures to follow for Faculty
- Bring tests to proctoring location
- Complete request form for tests
- Tell students hours/location of proctoring service
- Tell students days test will be available
- Tell students about special test rules
- Count and signout tests at pickup
Procedures to follow for Students
- Know instructor's name
- Know class name and number
- Bring photo ID
- Turn off cell phones
- Leave backpacks in designated area
- Seats are limited, plan ahead
Verde Campus
Fall Semester Hours
- Please call 634-6561 to make an appointment.
- Mon - Wed 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Thu 8:30 am to 6:00 pm
- Fri 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
- Closed Nov 26-28
Summer Hours (May 18 - Aug 14)
- Mon-Thu 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (extended hours available until 6:00 pm by appointment only)
- Closed Fri
Procedures to follow for Faculty
- Complete request form for tests
- Bring or send tests and completed form to proctoring location
- Tell students days test will be available
- Instruct students to contact call 634-6561 to arrange a testing time at least 24 hours in advance of the deadline for taking the test
- Tell students about special test rules
Procedures to follow for Students
- Know instructor's name
- Know class name and number
- Be on time for your appointment
- Bring photo ID
- Turn off cell phones
- Leave backpacks in designated area
