ProCalc Math Testing

Yavapai College nursing students are required to demonstrate math competency by passing math assessments as part of their nursing course work. A computer-based software, Nurse ProCalc, is used for this purpose. It has the capacity to generate thousands of clinically-accurate questions. There is no fee charged to YC nursing students for this testing.

Nursing 131 and 132 must wait a full day before being allowed to retest. Nursing 231 and 232 may take up to two retests per day, however, they must take a break of 15-30 minutes between tests. The student course calendar outlines the due date for completion of this test.
