The Instrumental Music Program offers a variety of ensembles designed to meet the artistic and educational needs of our students. Community members and students from all academic disciplines are invited to participate in the Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Big Band I (Advanced), Big Band II and Brass Quartet. Instrumental ensembles perform quality music literature in jazz, popular and classical music twice a semester in the YC Performance Hall.
Private lessons are also available for intermediate and advanced brass, woodwind, percussion and string players. Instrumental ensembles and instrumental classes are offered on the Prescott Campus. Instrumental classes are offered on the Sedona, Prescott Valley and Verde Valley campuses depending upon availability of instructors and student interest.
