How do I get my roster into Excel?
Start by selecting the attributes you want in your spreadsheet from the Instructor Roster screen. Click on the continue button to display your roster.

After your roster is displayed click on the Download button:

Select S ave from the File Download box.

You may save the file in any location you wish by changing the Save i n location. The file name will be the term, 2005SP, class, AVT999, and section number, 10001. Save it as a text document. Click on Save.

Close the download box.

Now open Microsoft Excel. Select File, O pen, Select the location you saved the file. Change the Files of t ypes to All Files. Select the file you downloaded. The file name will end with .txt. Double click on the file to open it.

The Text Import Wizard box will display. Make sure the Delimited button is selected and click on NEXT.

the Do Not import option. Select Finish to Import the columns you selected.


The information is available for formatting in your spreadsheet.

After making your changes save the file with any name you choose. Be sure to select Microsoft Excel WorkBook as the file type.
