Yavapai College offers a variety of scholarships based on academic merit, specific career interests, athletic ability, special talents, financial need, or other criteria.
Application for the majority of the scholarships requires the completion of a single form, which can be requested through the Financial Aid Office or accessed online through Electronic Student Services (PIN Required).
Students who complete the scholarship application will automatically be considered for all the scholarships for which they meet the minimum qualifications.
You can increase your chances of receiving a specific scholarship, if you click on the scholarships links below and research the scholarships before completing a scholarship application form or applying online.
This will help give you a sense of what information is most relevant to your application. For example, a scholarship based on financial need would require a detailed explanation of the impact the scholarship would have on your ability to attend college.
Exceptions to the single application requirement are the Honors Program scholarship, Art Department scholarships, and most performance-based scholarships.
The priority deadline for most scholarships is April 1 unless otherwise stated. Students who submit applications prior to this date will be notified on or before May 10 whether or not they receive a scholarship. Late applications will be accepted online or via mail through December 31. Students who submit a late application will be notified only if they receive a scholarship.
