All Yavapai College faculty teaching transfer courses are expected to hold a graduate degree from an accredited college or university. A transfer course is defined as a course in subject areas where work toward the associate degree carries transfer credit toward higher degrees i.e., liberal arts, business, technology, and an ever-growing number of other fields. Increasingly, any technical course is liable to be transferable toward a higher degree.
The same qualifications as those listed above for transferable coursework are preferred, or an Associate’s Degree in the discipline with verified 5 years recent occupational work experience may be considered for occupational programs only.
