GED: Getting a Fresh Start with FREE GED Classes
We help hundreds of people earn their GEDs each year: single moms, working dads, and those looking for jobs or going on to college, from teenagers to grandparents.
Our teachers are friendly professionals who know the fear some students feel about coming back to school. We will give you the support, information, and resources you need to be successful.
Which YC GED Program is right for you?
Our program offers several ways to prepare for the GED. Each includes pre- and post-assessments, Official GED Practice Tests, and instruction which targets exactly what you need to pass the GED test.
- 10-week GED Prep classes give you intensive teacher-guided instruction in all GED subjects. We emphasize step-by-step math instruction from the basics through algebra and geometry, and writing skills, including essay writing, grammar and usage for the GED test.
- GED Learn Labs are individualized and self-paced. Students study materials on their own and use instructional software specific to their needs. Our lab instructors provide one-to-one tutoring as needed. Labs can take new students every two weeks throughout the semester.
- GED Online is great for students who can't get to a class. After face-to-face orientation, online students study GED software at home under the guidance of an online instructor. Monthly face-to-face seminars include tutoring and GED practice testing.
