Allied Health Internships
Student placement is dependent on the availability of internship sites.

A mandatory orientation will be held on the Prescott campus for all students admitted to an internship regardless of the campus that their class is assigned to.

To participate in an Allied Health Internship, a student must:

Complete all of the courses within the certificate program with a C or better
Have the permission of the program director
Must submit the Allied Health Internship Application with all required documentation.

Complete description of the immunizations and other documentation that is required for the internship.

Application Dates

Summer 2012 - March 1, 2012 through May 7, 2012
Fall 2012 - April 16, 2012 through August 3, 2012

Mandatory Orientation Date and Time

Summer 2012 - June 4, 2012 (from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), Prescott Campus, Building 2, Room 208.

Fall 2012 - August 20, 2012 (from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), Prescott Campus, Building 2, Room 208.

Students must be able to commit to a minimum of 32-40 hours per week for the:
- Medical Assistant Internship
- Medical Coding Internship
- Pharmacy Technician Internship
- Phlebotomy Internship
for a total of 120 hours

Important Dates

Allied Health Internship Applications for Summer 2012 are due no later than May 7, 2012.
Allied Health Internship Applications for Fall 2012 are due no later than August 3, 2012
Begin accepting Nursing Assistant Applications for Summer 2012 and Fall 2012 on April 16, 2012.
