Yavapai College has established partnerships with several four-year institutions to offer YC students enhanced curriculum, programs and baccalaureate opportunities right here in Yavapai County.
These institutions offer a wide array of courses and programs online, via Interactive television or classes in the Prescott and Verde Valley areas. They also offer seamless transfer of most YC credits to bachelor’s degree programs and some also provide students with the opportunity to continue on to master’s degree and doctoral programs.
Whether you are just starting out at the community college or have completed your associate degree, ASU will provide you with the tools and advice to help you transition to ASU when you are ready.
Have you already decided on your ASU major? If so, the ASU Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) has been designed for you. Through this program, you follow a prescribed sequence of course work that meets the lower-division course requirements for an ASU major. When you complete your TAG, you will have met the requirements for your associate degree and be on track toward earning your bachelor’s degree. TAGs include the appropriate AGEC (Arizona General Education Curriculum) and an associate degree.
The Yavapai College-ASU RN-BSN Pathway Program is designed for students who are currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in nursing at Yavapai College and who plan to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at ASU.
