Apply for admission to Yavapai College.
Go to www.yc.edu/quickstart to complete an application for admission. You will receive a username and a temporary password. Follow the directions to set up your new permanent password. Your username and password will be needed to log onto your myYC academic portal.
Out of state tuition will be charged unless the student provides proof of citizenship and Arizona state residency. Go to Residency Requirements for more information.

Apply for Financial Aid.
FAFSA: www.fafsa.ed.gov. Yavapai College code: 001079.
YC Scholarships: www.yc.edu. Log onto your portal and click on the financial aid tab.
Outside Scholarships: www.fastweb.com

Request official transcripts.
Applying prior college or university credit to your Yavapai College degree goal is a two-part process.
A. Transcripts must be sent directly to:

B. Call 928.776.2149 to verify receipt of your transcript.
If so, request an evaluation.

Register for classes.
Go to www.yc.edu and log onto your myYC portal.
Type in your username and password.
Go to My Services, Student Information, then click on Search and Register for classes. For help with the Registration process, view the How to Register video.
